Forget Me Not FC
​
We are very proud that the Middlesex FA have chosen us as their partner to adopt and develop our Forget Me Not FC Dementia Football project across Middlesex. Brent and Barnet will be two centres to adopt our project.
Who would of thought 9 years ago that our logo would sit alongside those of the Middlesex FA and the FA promoting Football for a very special group of people, those living with Dementia and their Carers.
Always remember that there is more to the person than Dementia.
Uxbridge Amblers were very pleased to have been nominated for an England Football Grassroots Football Award.

It means someone in our football community has taken the time to nominate us, our club, league or project, and to recognise our huge contribution to the beautiful game!

The England Football Grassroots Awards celebrate the people who put their heart and soul into the grassroots game across England.

This is a fantastic honour that endorses the hard work of everyone at the Club, the Committee, Playmakers, First Aiders, Fundraisers and every player at every session.

We are delighted to announce that Uxbridge Amblers Walking FC is now an England Football Accredited Club for 2022/23, renewed for 2023/24 and 2024/25. The first in Middlesex and one of the first Nationally.
​
The FA Accreditation is awarded to any club playing any type of football that meets the exacting standards of club policy, procedures and ethics set by the FA. The quality kite mark we now can proudly display demonstrates that the FA recognises Walking Football as an integral part of Grassroots football in England.
A massive thanks to Mick Geraghty, Mick Harvey, John Handell, Neil Robson and Ken Wood for their tireless work in getting us this Award for the third season.

A big thank you to all our qualified FA Playmakers and First Aiders who tick a very big box within the application process.

Also thank you to all our playing members who buy into our structured approach to sessions that encourage player improvement and Walking Football development.
